MEaT from Red Hook. Get it while it’s fresh.
Yep. I live in Red Hook, Brooklyn. And boy do I love it here. MEaT has been slowly morphing over the past six or so months, and I’m glad to finally embrace the Local. You can expect much of the same, but a lot more insight into the greatness that is my neighborhood.
The nautical star structural enforcements dot the Civil War-Era buildings all over Red Hook. I’m not sure my building is quite that old, but this is one such star above my apartment window.
