In the spirit of meditative, daily art-making, caltraincommute snaps a daily photo of his ride to/from work. The pictures have recently taken a turn towards the black&white abstract, or in my mind towards the better. The stark contrasts and geometric patterns create a beautiful aesthetic lean, especially when paired with the concept. The resulting rhythmic body of simple work feels like a photographic equivalent of On Kawara. Hats off to caltraincommute.
