Shore Road Park, which thinly extends over two miles, but covers only 58 acres, is our favorite place to stroll and socialize. Beyond the iconic wrought iron fencing, past the knotted oaks and over the Hudson River stretches the Verrazzano Bridge, named after the little-know European explorer, the first to have entered New York Harbor.
